Acclaim Website
The Acclaim website project involved creating an online source of information for the Acclaim bi-monthly magazine. Created for the website included a blog (slide 1), feature articles, review articles (slide 5), win or competitions, eNewsletter signup, current issue, shop (still in progress) and manifesto pages.
The website is run on TYPOlight webCMS and developed with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Flash. It features use of the sIFR font replacement method (slide 3) and also employs cleverly place individual SWF labels (slide 4) (transparent over the rest of the content) and that are in turn connected within TYPOlight. A fliter by subject method initiated, helps to categorize feature articles under their respective categories i.e. (culture, music, style etc.).
The blog allowed for multiple contributors to post content onto the site. An example post might feature youtube video, a gallery and or comments (slide 2).
ENewsletters were handcoded for regular weekly distribution and still continue (slide 6).
